Once you know how many people are coming, you you may want to choose a menu or order on the day, we can advise you what is best for the size of your function. The Writing Room can hold up to 20 people and you are welcome to make the room look special with balloons or flowers, bring a cake, organise champagne for arrival and wine for the table. One of our team will be on hand to look after your guests and make sure the event goes without a hitch.

We have the Writing Room for private dining and this lends itself to special occasions for up to 20 people. There is no room hire charge.

Yes we are open to non residents.

We pride ourselves on finding the best ingredients and when possible this is locally sourced.

The Writing Room is perfect for birthdays, engagement parties, anniversaries, baby showers, family get-togethers, small weddings, whatever the occasion it lends itself to making your event unique.

Before you book your special occasion with us you might want to come experience what we have to offer. The Samphire Kitchen offers a menu of modern British cuisine but if you would like to sample something different the chef is happy to be adaptable with some notice.
