Nothing beats the excitement and anticipation of our guests arriving for Christmas. Our aim is to give everyone a home-from-home Christmas where you don’t have to worry about a thing. All food, drinks and entertainment are included in your luxury Christmas hotel break, meaning you need to do nothing but sit back, relax and let us look after you.
Day 1: Arrival on Christmas Eve Eve
We invite guests to start their 4-night stay with us on 23rd December from 3pm where you will be welcomed with a delicious festive afternoon tea. Enjoy some canapes before our 4-course dinner, and then it’s eyes down for the ever-popular Rock ‘n’ Roll Bingo!
Day 2: The Magic of Christmas Eve
After a hearty Congham Hall breakfast, enjoy some salty fresh air by taking a walk along one of the beaches on the North Norfolk coast, or head to Burnham Market or Holt for some last-minute Christmas shopping, before settling in back at the hotel for some tea and mince pies. Your soundtrack will be the West Norfolk Rock Choir singing some Christmas carols to get us all in the spirit of Christmas.
Elegant Dining Followed By Evening Entertainment
From 7pm we will be serving Champagne cocktails to our Christmas guests, before our glittering Black Tie Dinner Gourmand. This 7-course tasting menu comes complete with complimentary wines and is truly a treat for all the senses.
Day 3: Christmas Day
The big day itself starts with a morning visit from Santa, of course. Once you have exchanged gifts with loved ones, wander downstairs to enjoy a hearty Christmas morning breakfast and start the day right.
A Royal Trip to Sandringham Church
The nearby Sandringham estate has been the go-to holiday getaway for the royal family ever since 1862. If it’s good enough for the royals, it’s good enough for us! Thousands of well-wishers gather in Sandringham Park to greet the royal family on Christmas morning as they attend a service at St Mary Magdalene – a country church which dates back to the 16th century. Congham Hall is just a few miles from Sandringham so many guests take a drive to try and get a glimpse of the Royal Family walking to church.
